Taking a shower in space is a difficult task because there is no gravity to control the flow of water. To take a shower in the Russian Module it is necessary to stow away the kitchen table. Then the shower cabin bottom is pulled down and fixed to the floor. Water is then forced to flow through the combined action of high pressure water from the shower head and a vacuum at the lower end.
